Privacy
A site about protecting children online should be careful with your data too. Here's everything we collect, in plain English. It isn't much.
Reading the site
You can read everything here without an account. The site is static pages served from a CDN, and nothing identifies you personally.
Analytics
We ask before measuring anything. If you allow it, we use Google Analytics to count visits and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used: which guides get read, where people give up. If you say no (or say nothing), neither runs and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored on your device only, and you can.
The newsletter
If you sign up to the fortnightly check-in, your email address goes to MailerLite, who send the emails for us. We use double opt-in: you're not on the list until you click the confirmation link. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address. We don't share the list with anyone, and we don't enrich it with data from elsewhere.
Advertising and affiliate links
There are none. The site carries no adverts, no sponsored content and no affiliate links, so nothing on it tracks you for commercial reasons. If that ever changes, any such link will be labelled and this page will be updated before the first one appears.
